  36. The A2000 is eminently upgradeable. Hard drives with +/- 300-500 megs are selling
  37. in the neighborhood of $250. You need an accelerator with a higher level cpu and
  38. these are available both new and used. I wouldn't get anything less than a 68030.
  39. Many of these (such as the GVP's) come with onboard scsi controllers, serial and
  40. parallel ports.

  42. My GVP 68040 is fast and reliable, and my modem runs off the serial port on the
  43. GVP board...it too is reliable.

  45. Check out comp.sys.amiga.marketplace. Some of the commercial on-line services, such
  46. as Compuserve, also have classified sections in their Amiga forums.

  48. You should also purchase the latest OS, Workbench 3.1...comes with a rom chip and 
  49. manuals.
